A plastic that comes from plants
PLA (polylactic acid) is a bioplastic made from renewable plant sources such as corn starch. Unlike traditional petroleum-based plastics, it has a lighter footprint and is compostable in industrial facilities.
Why we chose it
It lets us print precise details, vivid colours and finishes that feel good to the touch, while keeping production in Italy and gentler on the environment. Beautiful to look at, sensible to make.
